UniFirst is seeking a reliable Maintenance Tech I to join our team in the maintenance department. You will handle repairs, installation and troubleshooting of industrial equipment, following blueprints and safety procedures.

We offer on-the-job training and a standard Monday–Friday week with periodic night and weekend overtime. This role requires reading English maintenance literature, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-year technical degree preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience repairing industrial equipment.
• Must pass maintenance knowledge assessment test.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to read maintenance literature in English.
• Basic computer skills.
• Lockout / Tagout experience required.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and troubleshoot industrial equipment and systems.
• Follow blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Perform safety checks and repairs on boilers and machinery.
• Record meter readings and adjust chemical processes as needed.
• Utilize CMMS for maintenance tasks.
• Perform daily/weekly maintenance and other duties as assigned.
