Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I at our Distribution Center to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair conveyors, building systems, machinery and electrical controls.

You will help ensure peak equipment efficiency while maintaining a safe work environment. You will diagnose issues using blueprints and diagnostic tools, operate power equipment safely, and collaborate with teammates to keep downtime minimal.

Qualifications

• Coursework or certification in electronic technology and 2 years industrial maintenance experience.
• 3 years industrial maintenance experience in electronic technology (including troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment).
• PLC/PC programming knowledge and troubleshooting experience.
• Hands-on industrial electrical experience, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24 VDC systems.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills with PCs and industrial control devices/networking.
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to business leadership.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on equipment including lift trucks, dock equipment, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical/electronic problems with PLCs, motor drives, and I/O devices.
• Diagnose electrical issues using drawings and diagnostic tools (multimeter, laptop).
• Assist other technicians in repair and maintenance of equipment.
• Initiate and implement new procedures to maintain equipment efficiency.
• Maintain organized, safe work area within Maintenance department.
• Complete work orders and communicate technical issues to leadership and suppliers.
• Operate material handling equipment safely; maintain customer-service approach.
