Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for our Distribution Center in Litchfield Park, AZ. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair conveyors, building systems, machinery and electrical/controls equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

This role requires hands-on electrical work, PLC/PC troubleshooting, and strong problem-solving. You must be willing to work Monday-Thursday, 4:00pm-2:30am, with overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years industrial maintenance in electronic technology OR 3 years industrial maintenance experience in electronic technology (including troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment)
• PLC/PC programming knowledge and troubleshooting experience
• Hands-on industrial electrical experience, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24 VDC systems
• Advanced troubleshooting skills with PCs and industrial control devices/net working
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to business leadership

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on equipment including conveyors, lift trucks, dock equipment, and electrical/electronic systems
• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical/electronic problems with equipment, networks, PLCs, motor drives (Servo and VFD), and external I/O devices
• Diagnose electrical problems using blueprints and diagnostic tools (multimeter)
• Assist other maintenance technicians in repair and maintenance of equipment
• Initiate and implement new procedures or designs to maintain equipment efficiency
• Maintain organized work area and promote a safe working environment within Maintenance department
• Operate material handling equipment safely and maintain a customer-service approach
