Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for our Distribution Center. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair conveyors, building systems, machinery, and electrical/electronic equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires coursework or certification in electronic technology and multiple years of industrial maintenance experience, including PLCs, servo drives, and 480V systems.

Qualifications

• Coursework or certification in electronic technology and 2 years industrial maintenance experience.
• 3 years industrial maintenance experience in electronic technology (including troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment)

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on equipment, including lift trucks, pneumatic systems, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, and electrical/electronic systems
• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical/electronic problems with equipment, networks, logic controls, PLCs, motor drives (Servo and VFD), and external I/O devices
• Diagnose electrical problems using technical drawings (blueprints, schematics) and diagnostic tools (multi-meter, laptop)
• Assist other maintenance technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment
• Initiate and implement new procedures or designs to maintain equipment efficiency
• Maintain organized work area and promote a safe working environment within the Maintenance department
• Communicate maintenance status and issues to leadership
• Operate material handling equipment, battery-powered equipment, and other powered machinery safely
• Maintain a customer service-oriented approach while addressing technical issues
