Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I at our Berwick Distribution Center.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair conveyors, building systems, machinery, and electrical/controls equipment to keep operations running efficiently during the night shift. The role requires electronics-focused maintenance experience, familiarity with 480V 3-phase and other electrical systems, and the ability to communicate technical issues to leadership.

Qualifications

• Coursework or certification in electronic technology and 2 years industrial maintenance experience specializing in electronic technology.
• OR 3 years industrial maintenance experience in electronic technology (including troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment).
• PLC/PC programming knowledge and troubleshooting experience.
• Hands‑on industrial electrical experience, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24 VDC systems.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills with PCs and industrial control devices/networking.
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to business leadership.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on equipment including lift trucks, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, dock equipment, and electrical/electronic systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical/electronic problems with equipment, networks, logic controls, PLCs, motor drives and external I/O devices.
• Diagnose electrical problems using drawings and diagnostic tools (multimeter, laptop).
• Initiate and implement new procedures to maintain equipment efficiency and safety.
• Maintain organized work area and promote a safe working environment within Maintenance.
