Job summary

Dollar Tree Distribution Center is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of conveyors, building systems, and electrical/controls equipment.

You will diagnose issues with PLCs, servo/motor drives, and I/O devices, while maintaining safety and efficiency. The role requires shift flexibility, including nights and weekends, and offers a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment in an industrial setting.
• Strong background in PLCs, PCs, and industrial control devices.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and use diagnostic tools.
• Operate and maintain material handling equipment safely.
• Willingness to work 3x12 hour night shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on conveyors, lift trucks, dock equipment, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical/electronic problems with PLCs, motor drives, networks, and I/O devices.
• Diagnose electrical problems using drawings and diagnostic tools; mentor others as needed.
• Maintain organized work area and promote safety within the maintenance department.
• Document work orders and communicate issues to leadership and suppliers.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and support a customer-service approach.
