Job summary
Dollar Tree Distribution Center in Berwick, PA is hiring a Maintenance Technician I to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair conveyors, building systems, machinery, and electrical/controls equipment to keep our operations running smoothly.
The ideal candidate has coursework or certification in electronic technology or 2–3 years of industrial maintenance experience, PLC/PC programming knowledge, and willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and overtime.
Qualifications
- Coursework or certification in electronic technology with 2 years of industrial maintenance experience OR 3 years of maintenance experience in electronic tech (troubleshooting/repair of automated equipment)
- PLC/PC programming knowledge and troubleshooting experience
- Hands-on industrial electrical experience (480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, 24 VDC) and advanced troubleshooting with PCs/industrial controls
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on equipment including lift trucks, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, dock equipment, and electrical/electronic systems
- Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical/electronic problems using drawings and diagnostic tools
- Operate material handling equipment safely and maintain a customer service orientation
