Job summary

Baxter Healthcare Corporation in Cleveland, MS is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to keep our manufacturing equipment running reliably and safely. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and vacuum systems to support plant production.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree in a technical field or a high school diploma with 2+ years of applicable experience; you will work with Maximo, PLCs, and precision

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED with at least 2 years of mechanical systems repair or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Support plant production by performing repairs and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment with electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and vacuum systems.
• Rebuild and modify production machines to support improvements and reduce parts cost.
• Assist in installation of manufacturing equipment.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical test instruments for control circuits.
• Support Lean Maintenance and Lean Energy activities and complete assigned projects.
