Job summary

Baxter is hiring a Maintenance Technician I to ensure safe and efficient operation of plant equipment through hands-on maintenance and preventive care. You will troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade systems, reading schematics and using CMMS to keep records.

The role requires 1–2+ years in manufacturing maintenance, familiarity with PLCs, SCADA/EMS/BMS, and a strong adherence to safety and GMP standards. It is a US-based on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred technical school training.
• 1–2+ years maintenance on automated manufacturing machines.
• Experience with CMMS; Maximo preferred.
• Familiar with PLC systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Omron) and SCADA/EMS/BMS.
• Reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication; knowledge of cGMP.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools to resolve electrical issues.
• Complete work orders following GDP and EHS procedures.
• Document all work in CMMS as required.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Support plant production and safety training.
