Job summary

Baxter Healthcare Corporation in Cleveland, MS is seeking a Technologist to maintain and improve our critical equipment. You will collaborate with Engineering to modify machines, generate PM procedures, analyze failures, and support annual inspections to ensure high quality and safety standards across operations.

The role requires a high school diploma with an associate degree preferred, 5+ years in mechanical repair or industrial maintenance, and the ability to work with PLCs, VFDs, and servos.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in a technical field preferred (e.g., Industrial Maintenance).
• 5+ years in mechanical systems repair or industrial maintenance.
• Knowledge of predictive maintenance tools.
• Ability to drive and guide repair with team members.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Engineering to perform equipment modifications and PMs.
• Generate and refine Preventive Maintenance procedures.
• Analyze machine failures to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in annual equipment inspections.
• Monitor parts spending and reliability trends to optimize performance.
• Communicate with PLCs, VFDs, Panelviews, and Servos for diagnosing issues.
• Diagnose mechanical wear, alignment, and setup issues.
• Develop standard work procedures for troubleshooting and setups/changeovers.
• Serve as SME for maintenance guidelines and processes.
• Procure estimates for tasks and orders for parts.
• Collaborate with engineers, vendors, and suppliers for new installations.
• Maintain safe operation around moving equipment.
• Adhere to cGMP and quality standards.
• Sustain a clean and safe work area following 6S.
