Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc. is hiring Maintenance Technicians at all levels for rental housing projects in Texas. The role covers routine repairs in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry, and includes make-ready tasks for vacated units.

You will respond to service requests, document work, and maintain tools and PPE for safe operation. The job involves outdoor work in various weather conditions, with occasional attic or crawl space access.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) Required.
• 1-3 years experience in building maintenance Required.
• General knowledge of maintenance trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Able to work outdoors in all weather and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Responds to service requests including furnaces, A/C systems, appliances, water heaters and plumbing.
• Performs skilled work in trades such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry.
• Document all work in accordance with company policy.
• Assist in make-ready of vacated units (painting, carpentry, flooring, drywall).
• Perform emergency maintenance and ensure safety compliance.
• Operate company or personal vehicle for work duties as required.
