Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a reliable Maintenance Tech I to join our maintenance team. You will handle repairs, maintenance, installation and troubleshooting of industrial equipment, systems, and components.

The role involves a Monday–Friday schedule with periodic night and weekend overtime and on-the-job training. You will utilize hand and power tools, read schematics, and operate a CMMS to record maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-year technical degree preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Basic computer and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain industrial equipment and systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Follow blueprints, manuals, and specifications.
• Record meter readings and log results.
• Inspect and service motors, belts, and lubrication points.
• Use CMMS to record maintenance activities.
• Overtime may be required.
