First Solar Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform on-site service and repair of equipment, following safety standards and procedures.

The role requires interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings and maintaining clean, safe work practices while meeting repair-time targets. Eligible candidates will have a high school diploma, a technical degree preferred, and 6 months of relevant experience in manufacturing or similar fields.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred.
• 6 months First Solar manufacturing experience or 6 months outside manufacturing, mechanical, or agricultural experience.
• Military experience.
• Graduate from vocational High School with no experience required.

Responsabilités

• Performs on-site service and repair of equipment as directed.
• Accomplishes daily assignments as scheduled and as directed.
• Must meet at least 70% of Estimated Repair Times.
• Collaborates with other departments.
• Follows standard OSHA, EPA, and company safe practices on all work assignments.
• Ability to read electrical & mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
