Job summary

ALO Distribution Center in Southaven, MS is seeking a Maintenance Specialist I to audit, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on automated material handling systems within our Fulfillment Center.

You will work with technicians, handle 3-phase systems up to 480VAC, climb to heights, and coordinate safe, reliable maintenance routines to support product flow and operational goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; experience and military service valued.
• 3–5 years in mechanical/technical troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Ability to read/interpret English; basic math for inventory management.
• Strong electrical background with PLC experience; low voltage controls knowledge.
• Experience with conveyor or sortation systems; strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technicians to repair and maintain equipment, diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems.
• Independently perform audits, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance of automated material handling systems.
• Work on 3 phase systems up to 480VAC for installation and maintenance tasks.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and repairs while following safety and quality procedures.
• Troubleshoot key components and assist in maintaining conveyors and maintenance areas.
