Job summary

Distribution Management, Inc. in Missouri is seeking a senior maintenance technician to lead repairs and preventive maintenance of material handling equipment, conveyors, stretch wrappers, and case sealers.

You will serve as the primary on-site contact for Managers and Supervisors. The role involves troubleshooting conveyors, sensors, motors, VFDs, and related components; coordinating with the Maintenance Manager on major repairs and vendor relations; and ensuring safety policies and regulatory

Qualifications

• Five years of maintenance technician experience.
• Prior experience with conveyance, electrical wiring, motor controls, sensors, actuators and VFDs.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical schematics and manufacturer manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on repairs and serve as the onsite point of contact for Managers and Supervisors.
• Perform preventative maintenance, installations, inspections, and repairs on MHE, conveyors, stretch wrappers, and case sealers.
• Identify root causes of recurring equipment failures and implement long‑term corrective solutions.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime and restore service levels.
• Troubleshoot conveyors, sensors, motors, photo eyes, VFDs, and related components.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager on major repairs, facility projects, and vendor relations.
• Assist with spare parts management and maintain accurate logs and repair histories.
• Ensure safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide after-hours or on-call support; travel to other DCs as needed.
• Collaborate with Operations, Safety, IT, vendors, and management.
