Job summary

Designer Brands is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our 700,000 sq ft distribution center. You will respond to service calls, perform on-site installation, servicing and repair of complex equipment, and ensure safe, compliant operations.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting conveyors and related systems, and documenting issues with supervisors and facilities managers. On-site work with a focus on reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Experience with conveyor systems preferred.
• Must pass forklift certification.
• Strong reading/comprehension of safety documents.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain conveying systems per standards.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using drawings and tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance on material handling equipment.
• Support operations with daily inspections.
• Document issues and coordinate with Facilities Manager.
