Job summary

Radial is seeking a Maintenance Tech II to support our Fulfillment Center operations in Kentucky. You will perform audits, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on automated material handling components with minimal guidance.

The role requires experience with 3-phase systems up to 480VAC, and a strong background in mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, with a focus on safety and quality procedures. You will help the team ensure smooth product flow and facility reliability.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred. Will also consider experience and/or military service.
3-5 years of related experience in mechanical troubleshooting, technical troubleshooting, maintenance and/or installation is required.
Adept at analyzing and resolving mechanical and technical issues.
Excellent hand and eye coordination skills
Ability to read, recognize, write, and follow applicable numbers and directives (verbal and written) in English
Command of basic math skills to ensure accurate inventory
Ability to maintain a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends as necessary
Command of safety procedures (including lock-out/tag-out)
Frequent bending, lifting, walking, pushing, pulling of freight, standing for long periods of time
Sometimes working in extreme temperatures
Safely utilize manual and electronic operated equipment to transport cartons or other items by means of pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying
Strong electrical background, knowledge of low voltage controls and PLC.
Required prior experience and/or working knowledge of Conveyor and/or sortation
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and solid electrical/controls troubleshooting
Preventative/predictive maintenance

Responsibilities

Assists other technicians and/or mechanics in the repair and maintenance of equipment.
Performs audits, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of automated material handling system components.
Works with 3 phase systems up to 480VAC and participates in installation and maintenance.
Conducts preventive maintenance and repairs following safety and quality procedures.
Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, electrical, and controls issues.
Maintains inventory of tools and supports product flow in the Fulfillment Center.
Cleans conveyor systems and maintenance areas as needed.
Completes work orders and documentation per procedures.
