Job summary

Grainger in Louisville, KY is seeking an experienced maintenance technician for our onsite distribution center. You will troubleshoot conveyors, PLCs, electrical and control systems, perform preventive maintenance, and document work in the CMMS.

You must be able to work at heights and participate in a 24‑hour on‑call rotation. The role requires a High School Diploma/GED and 5+ years of building and equipment maintenance with experience on Dematic or similar conveyors, plus 2+ years with AC

Qualifications

• 5+ years of building and equipment maintenance.
• Experience with Dematic or similar conveyor systems.
• Experience with AC drives (set-up, programming, faults).

Responsibilities

• Respond to conveyor, PIE, sortation, and control system issues (EMS, WCS, Sort Director, EWM).
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system components; including PLCs and encoders.
• Operate all material handling equipment and work at heights; participate in 24-hour on-call rotation.
