Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support maintenance operations at our Valdosta, GA location.

You will respond to work orders, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment, fixtures, and systems to keep the facility safe, clean, fully operational, and welcoming for users. The role requires a high school diploma, hands-on plumbing experience, and the ability to work with CMMS, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hands-on plumbing experience required.
• 2-3 years QA/QC experience preferred.
• Journeyman electrician certification or HVAC certification preferred.
• Experience in operations and maintenance in industrial/large commercial or logistics environments preferred.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Support contract compliance for operations and maintenance tasks.
• Assist technicians and facility attendants as needed.
• Create and update task orders and CMMS records.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related systems.
• Inspect subcontractor work for contract standards and approved scope.
• Promote safety and follow procedures while performing maintenance.
