Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support maintenance operations at a St.

Marys, GA location. You will respond to work orders, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment, fixtures, and systems to keep facilities safe and operational. The ideal candidate has hands-on plumbing experience and 2–3 years of QA/QC exposure, with preferred certifications in electrical or HVAC.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Hands-on plumbing experience required.
• 2-3 years QA/QC experience preferred.
• Journeyman electrician certification or HVAC certification preferred.
• Experience in operations and maintenance in an industrial, large commercial, or logistics distribution environment preferred.
• Good standing with the applicable state licensing board.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders and trouble calls, provide timely service and feedback to the customer.
• Assist technicians and facility attendants in responding to work orders as needed.
• Create and update task orders and work orders in the CMMS as assigned.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems to keep facilities safe and operational.
• Repair building fixtures, including lights, locks, windows, doors, and gutters.
