Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the physical condition of our communities and deliver world-class resident service. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and handle resident service requests promptly to maintain high standards.

Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years of maintenance experience, basic troubleshooting skills, and certifications (EPA 608, Boiler, plumbing/electrical/appliance repair) within 9 months of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of electrical, plumbing, or carpentry disciplines.
• Repairs to company standards within time limits.
• Willingness to learn quickly.
• Certifications relevant to the region (EPA 608, Boiler, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair) within 9 months of hire.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support for general maintenance and orderliness of property systems (HVAC, mechanical, electrical, utilities, lighting); perform inspections and repairs.
• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Deliver high resident satisfaction through professional, responsive service.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule for 24/7 maintenance coverage.
