Job summary

Quality Talent Group is recruiting for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support a rock quarry/mining operation in Kentucky. The role focuses on keeping crushers, conveyors, and sizing screens running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have a solid maintenance background, welding experience, and can work in all weather conditions. This is a physically demanding, safety-conscious position with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with repairs at rock quarry or sand mining operation.
• Maintenance background including welding, bearings, and gearboxes.
• Physically capable of demanding work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and repair crushers, conveyors, and sizing screens.
• Perform cleanup using manual methods and operate a skid steer.
• Grease bearings; replace guards; change drive belts and gear boxes.
• Communicate safety, maintenance and production needs.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies.
