Job summary

Quality Talent Group represents a major client in the rock quarry and sand mining maintenance sector in the United States. The position is for a maintenance technician responsible for monitoring and repairing crushers, conveyors, and sizing screens, with a strong emphasis on health, safety and environmental policies.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, hands-on maintenance experience (including welding), and the ability to work in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must read and write proficiently.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with repairs at rock quarry or sand mining operations.
• Maintenance background including welding and bearing/gearbox work.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and repair crushers, conveyors, and sizing screens.
• Perform cleanup with manual methods and operate skid steer.
• Grease bearings; replace guards; change belts and gear boxes; replace rollers.
• Communicate safety, maintenance, and production needs clearly.
• Commit to health, safety and environmental policies.
