Job summary

Quality Talent Group partners with a global technology client in building automation and industrial technology to fill a hands-on maintenance role in mining operations. The position focuses on keeping processing equipment ready, performing preventive maintenance, and making repairs to keep production running.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic mechanical aptitude, welding and fabrication skills, and experience with industrial equipment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in industrial environments.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and general industrial maintenance including: stick welding, arc welding, lite fabrication, cutting torch, and wrenching (hand tools).
• Preferred experience operating a skid-steer, man-lift, and other industrial equipment.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains mining processing equipment in a state of readiness.
• Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
• Inspects condition and operation of plant equipment and performs necessary repairs and adjustments.
• Reports required repairs or other findings to Supervisor.
• Performs required emergency repairs on production equipment.
