Job summary

Quality Talent Group is recruiting for a maintenance technician in a cement plant setting. The role focuses on performing mechanical maintenance, repairs, and preventive tasks to ensure continuous plant operations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, welding skills, and the ability to operate Bobcat, Condor, and forklift equipment. This full-time position is on-site with health and safety requirements in a heavy industry environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in mechanical maintenance in an industrial environment, preferably cement.
• Willingness to weld, cut, and use standard maintenance-shop equipment.
• Experience operating mobile equipment such as Bobcat, Condor, and forklift.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance work using sound maintenance practices.
• Repair equipment as required and perform preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot, install, and maintain mechanical systems in a cement plant.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED
• 5 years related experience in Mechanical Maintenance repair in an industrial environment preferably in a cement plant
• Able to weld, cut, and use standard maintenance-shop type machinery
• Able to operate mobile equipment including Bobcat, Condor, and Forklift
• Good communication skills for use with co-workers, contractors, completing reports, etc.
