Sunrise Senior Living in Westtown (near West Chester, PA) is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help keep our community safe, clean, and well‑functioning for residents, families and team members. You’ll perform routine maintenance tasks, basic repairs, painting, and support HVAC and mechanical system upkeep.

You’ll follow OSHA, fire safety and infection control standards, take part in safety drills, manage tools and repair inventory, assist with make‑ready suites, and help with daily building

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned maintenance tasks and work orders
• Perform basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, fixtures)
• Assist with painting and refurbishing projects
• Support HVAC, water, and mechanical system maintenance
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks
• Maintain tools, equipment, and repair inventory
• Support carpet and floor care as needed
• Assist with suite “make-ready” preparation
• Follow OSHA, fire safety, and infection control standards
• Participate in emergency preparedness and fire drills
• Drive community vehicle as assigned
