Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to keep our community safe, clean, and well‑functioning for residents, families, and team members. You will handle routine maintenance tasks, perform basic repairs, assist with painting and refurbishing projects, and support HVAC, water, and mechanical system maintenance.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance and safety checks, tool and inventory management, and assisting with suite make‑ready preparation.

Qualifications

• Experience performing routine maintenance tasks and repairs.
• Ability to follow safety standards and procedures.
• Comfort with maintaining and using basic maintenance tools.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned maintenance tasks and work orders.
• Perform basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, fixtures).
• Assist with painting and refurbishing projects.
• Support HVAC, water, and mechanical system maintenance.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and repair inventory.
• Support carpet and floor care as needed.
• Assist with suite make-ready preparation.
• Follow OSHA, fire safety, and infection control standards.
• Participate in emergency preparedness and fire drills.
• Drive community vehicle as assigned
• Keep day-to-day building operations running smoothly
