Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or some college credits from a technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, and appliance repair; drywall repairs and painting are essential.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
• You love to laugh and have fun while working hard to provide excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Operates tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• As a Maintenance Technician, establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
• Identifies and reports broken equipment or uncertain conditions to the supervisor.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, safe condition meeting safety regulations.
• Performs preventative maintenance on machinery and building/grounds as required.
• Maintains a positive Customer Service attitude in interactions with staff and residents.
