Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure production equipment runs reliably. The role involves performing emergency repairs, preventive maintenance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on upgrades, while maintaining safe, organized work areas.

You will work in a fast-paced plant environment, with overtime as needed, and must read blueprints, use basic machining and welding skills, and uphold safety regulations to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent manufacturing experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage ambiguity in stressful situations.
Positive attitude and teamwork mindset.
Basic machining skills.
Basic welding skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Own hand tools.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Experience with Lockout/Tagout and Hot Work Permits.
Ability to read blueprints and machine control schematics.

Responsibilities

Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks on machines, equipment, and systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support major repairs, upgrades, and improvement projects
Safely accomplish assigned tasks
Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop equipment specifications and proactive maintenance strategies
Comply with safety regulations
Maintain clean and orderly work areas
Other duties as assigned
