Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help ensure plant equipment operates reliably. You will perform emergency repairs, preventive maintenance, and collaborate on upgrades, while complying with safety regulations.

The role requires hands-on skills, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to work overtime as needed. Ideal candidates are high school graduates with basic machining and welding skills, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently

Qualifications

• High School Graduate/HSE or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
• Manage ambiguity while working through stressful situations.
• Positive attitude and a willingness to work with others.
• Basic machining skills.
• Basic welding skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a group.
• Must own hand tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks on machines, equipment, and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support major repairs, upgrades, and improvement projects.
• Safely accomplish assigned tasks.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop equipment specifications and proactive maintenance strategies.
• Comply with safety regulations.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
