Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations seeks a Maintenance Technician to ensure plant equipment adhere to maintenance principles while working independently with limited supervision. You will perform emergency repairs, preventive maintenance, and support major upgraes in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires hands-on skills in machining and welding, ability to read schematics, and a proactive approach to maintenance. Overtime may be required; safety and teamwork are essential in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate/HSE or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
• Manage ambiguity while working through stressful situations.
• Positive attitude and a willingness to work with others.
• Basic machining skills.
• Basic welding skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a group.
• Must own hand tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks on machines, equipment, and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support major repairs, upgrades, and improvement projects
• Safely accomplish assigned tasks
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop equipment specifications and proactive maintenance strategies
• Comply with safety regulations
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Other duties as assigned
