Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Indiana plant. You will perform emergency and preventive maintenance on production equipment, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on repairs, upgrades and projects.

The role requires the ability to work independently as well as within a team and to be flexible with overtime. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication, basic hand-tool use, and skills in

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent manufacturing experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage ambiguity in stressful situations.
Positive attitude and ability to work with others.
Own hand tools.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Basic machining and welding skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on major repairs, upgrades, and projects.
Safely accomplish assigned tasks.
Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
Collaborate on equipment specifications and proactive maintenance strategies.
Comply with safety regulations.
Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Other duties as assigned.
