Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking a Maintenance position in Indiana to ensure plant reliability through preventive and emergency maintenance. The role requires hands-on work with production equipment, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and adherence to safety standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic machining and welding skills, and strong troubleshooting and communication abilities. Overtime may be required to support production needs.

Qualifications

Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair production equipment.
Basic machining skills and welding capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team; must own hand tools.
Must be able to manage ambiguity and work under pressure.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Experience with safety regulations and maintaining clean, safe work areas.

Responsibilities

Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks on machines, equipment, and systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support major repairs, upgrades, and improvement projects.
Safely accomplish assigned tasks.
Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop equipment specifications and proactive maintenance strategies.
Comply with safety regulations.
Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Other duties as assigned.
