Job summary
Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure the plant remains in compliance with maintenance principles and operate with limited supervision.
You will perform emergency repairs, preventive maintenance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on upgrades and proactive strategies while following safety rules and maintaining orderly work areas. Overtime may be required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent manufacturing experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team; manage ambiguity under pressure.
- Own a set of hand tools and basic machining/welding skills.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks on machines, equipment, and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support major repairs, upgrades, and improvement projects.
- Safely accomplish assigned tasks.
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop equipment specifications and proactive maintenance strategies.
- Comply with safety regulations.
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Other duties as assigned.
