Job summary

RPM Living in Wisconsin seeks a Maintenance Technician responsible for general maintenance and keeping interior and exterior common areas clean. You will perform custodial duties, grounds work, and assist in make-ready units, using power washers, floor scrubbers, and other equipment.

The role requires 1 year in maintenance, a high school diploma or GED preferred, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED – Preferred.
• At least 1 year of maintenance or related field experience.
• General knowledge in skilled trades including construction, repair, drywall, basic carpentry, and make-ready.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular custodial duties and maintain common areas.
• Complete grounds work as directed by Maintenance Manager and/or Community Manager.
• Clean breezeways, power wash, wipe doors and handrails.
• Assist in basic landscaping and monitor irrigation.
• Prepare make-ready units and remove trash from vacant apartments.
• Operate equipment such as power washer, backpack blower, floor scrubbers and sweepers.
• Assist in pool maintenance and basic pool care.
• Respond to emergencies and complete work orders within 24-48 hours.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety policies.
