Cogir Senior Living is seeking a proactive Maintenance Technician to uphold the structural integrity of our senior living communities. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems and related equipment while following safety standards.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of hands-on maintenance experience in senior living or similar settings, strong general trades skills, and a customer-service mindset. This on-site role offers growth opportunities and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• At least two (2) years of maintenance or handyman experience in a senior living, multi-apartment, or hotel setting.
• General maintenance skills include HVAC, drywall repair, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and related tasks.
• Ability to work independently with good time management.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a customer-service mindset.
• Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals, tools, and machinery.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine building maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and repairs.
• Complete repairs promptly and in line with safety standards.
• Maintain equipment maintenance and service logs.
• Repair vacated rooms and prepare for new residents.
• Maintain common area walls, floors, doors, and woodwork.
• Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies.
• Record maintenance work and inventory accurately.
• Coordinate with fire marshal, inspectors, and jurisdictions.
• Work within local/state codes.
