Avenue5 Residential is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Kirkland, WA. You will address apartment and property maintenance tasks, perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry repairs, and ensure safety and curb appeal while delivering excellent resident service.

You will maintain work orders, respond to emergencies, participate in on-call duties, and uphold safety policies. A valid driver's license, English proficiency, and basic math skills are required; prior property maintenance experience is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or related field.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, HVAC, and more.
• Carry out carpentry tasks such as wallboard repair, cabinet replacement, tile repair.
• Conduct preventative maintenance including siding, painting, lighting, sprinklers.
• Maintain work orders and ensure timely completion to satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds and facilities for safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with property emergencies such as snow removal and other weather events.
• Communicate maintenance issues to leadership promptly.
• Adhere to safety and risk management policies.
• Participate in on-call/after-hours maintenance.
• Promote curb appeal and professional resident interactions.
• Collaborate with residents and other properties/agencies.
