Job summary

UMH Properties, Inc. seeks a full-time Maintenance person for the Candlewick Court Community. The role focuses on community groundskeeping, repairs to homes and lots, and safe operation of equipment in a residential setting.

Responsibilities include daily inspections, logging work, keeping areas tidy, and assisting with basic home installations as needed. Overtime and weekend work may be required, with competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Broad experience in home repairs, plumbing, and grounds maintenance.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and snow plow preferred.
• Ability to prioritize safety and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Drive UMH vehicles to inspect common areas daily.
• Repair and maintain community-owned homes and lots.
• Mow lawns, weed-eat, remove leaves and debris, and snow plow as needed.
• Keep work areas clean and safe and log all work performed.
• Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely.
• Assist with new home installations including basic utilities.
