UMH Properties, Inc. is seeking a Full-time Maintenance worker for the Collingwood Community. The role focuses on community groundskeeping, maintenance, and repairs for homes and lots, while upholding UMH standards for professionalism, quality and safety.

The position requires driving throughout the community, performing inspections, and maintaining equipment. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required as part of a non-exempt schedule under FLSA.

Qualifikationen

• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Broad experience in home repairs, plumbing, and grounds maintenance.
• Experience operating heavy equipment.
• Commitment to safety and periodic training.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Aufgaben

• Drive UMH vehicles through the community to inspect common areas.
• Record violations observed during daily inspections.
• Repair and maintain community-owned homes and lots.
• Mow lawns, weed-eat, remove leaves and debris, plow snow, shovel sidewalks.
• Keep work areas clean and safe with proper disposal of trash and spills.
• Maintain company vehicles and equipment and take daily readings where applicable.
• Complete periodic safety trainings and follow Hazard Communication Program.
• Operate power and hand tools safely.
• Follow lockout procedures for maintenance work.
