Job summary

RHP Properties, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Sherman Oaks community in Jackson, MI. This full-time role will perform general grounds maintenance and basic repairs to homes, managing work orders and ensuring community appearance.

Responsibilities include seasonal lawn care, snow removal, and promptly reporting status to the Community Manager. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, holidays, life insurance, and a 401K.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid operator’s license with a good driving record.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, HVAC, and carpentry.
• May need to provide own tools.
• Ability to bend, lift up to 75 pounds and work in restricted spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance to keep homes and community areas in good condition.
• Complete work orders and report status promptly to the Community Manager.
• Maintain community grounds with weed control, landscaping, and seasonal care.
• Respond to resident requests courteously and professionally.
• Operate snow removal equipment when needed and ensure safe access.
• Inventory maintenance supplies and report needs to management.
