Job summary

Open Management in Jackson, Michigan is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician for our manufactured housing community. You will perform routine and preventative maintenance, unit turns, and repairs to keep homes and the property safe and functional. Excellent customer service to residents is expected at all times.

We offer PTO, paid holidays, insurance options, and a 401(k) with company match. This is a hands-on, on-site role with local travel as needed to support park operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Entry-level knowledge of basic maintenance preferred.
• Construction experience desired.
• Understand, read, write and speak English to follow basic instructions and communicate with staff.

Responsibilities

• Respond to tenants' maintenance requests.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance and unit turns.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of common areas and grounds.
• Assist with landscaping and seasonal tasks as needed.
