Open Management is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician at our manufactured housing community in Jackson, Michigan. The role involves responding to tenant maintenance requests, performing routine and preventative repairs, completing unit turns, and maintaining grounds and common areas.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, basic maintenance knowledge, and construction experience. English proficiency is required to follow directions and communicate with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Entry-level knowledge of basic maintenance preferred.
• Construction experience desired.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to follow instructions and communicate with team.

Responsibilities

• Respond to tenants' maintenance requests.
• Perform property maintenance including cleaning, painting, and upkeep of interiors and exteriors.
• Complete unit turns with cleaning and basic repairs.
• Assist with landscaping and seasonal tasks as needed.
• Install and connect appliances such as stoves and refrigerators.
• Move supplies on site and maintain site cleanliness and safety.
