Job summary

Sun Communities & Sun Outdoors is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Toledo, Ohio to perform routine and preventative maintenance across communities. You will handle home/building repairs, grounds upkeep, and operate various tools and equipment while keeping properties clean and inviting.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to work on-call.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• 6 months maintenance experience in apartment/manufactured housing is preferred.
• 6 months snow removal experience (preferred).
• Basic understanding of general maintenance techniques and repair work (preferred).
• Able to endure outdoor work in varying temperatures.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance to maintain Sun communities.
• Complete minor repairs to rental homes and facilities.
• Inspect and maintain irrigation, water systems, and meters where applicable.
• Maintain grounds, streets, and facilities to Sun’s curb appeal standards.
• Assist supervision of service contractors and ensure safety procedures.
