Sun Communities & Sun Outdoors seeks Maintenance Technicians to perform routine and preventative upkeep across our communities. You will handle home and grounds maintenance, ensure clean, safe facilities, and support residents with courteous service.

The position requires outdoor work in varying temperatures, valid driver’s license, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. We offer strong benefits, paid time off, and opportunities for growth.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• 6 months in maintenance experience in apartment/manufactured housing preferred
• 6 months snow removal experience preferred (if applicable)
• 6 months broader maintenance knowledge preferred
• Able to work outdoors with temperature fluctuations
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Basic computer skills including email/internet
• Willingness to work an on-call schedule
• Proficient with hand tools, power equipment, and commercial machinery
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and grounds maintenance

Mansioni

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to preserve property condition
• Complete minor repairs to homes and facilities
• Inspect irrigation systems and perform repairs as needed
• Maintain vacant sites and remove trash and debris
• Snow removal duties including plowing or salting where applicable
• Maintain lawns, plant care, and general landscaping tasks
• Ensure streets and access routes are hazard-free
• Test water systems and meters; read/repair where needed
• Report maintenance issues to the manager promptly
• Complete condition checklists before/after resident occupancy
• Maintain curb appeal and clean facilities (clubhouse, restrooms, offices)
• Assist manager with supervising contractors
• Inspect playgrounds, pools, and recreational areas for safety
• Assist with move-in/move-out spot checks
• Maintain community vehicles and equipment
• Follow safety procedures during duties and travel
• Handle special projects as assigned
