Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician in Colorado Springs to perform maintenance and ensure the property's buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose issues, complete make-ready tasks for vacant units, manage supplies, and document work orders.

Responsibilities include adhering to safety policies, inspecting contractor work, and supporting cost-saving by efficient repairs. Onsite role with varied hours and weather exposure.

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance and repairs on property systems.
• Ability to read work orders and diagnose issues on-site.
• EPA refrigerant handling certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair building systems per safety standards.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant apartments and inspect work.
• Manage materials, inventory and reorder supplies as needed.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting.
• Support cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts.
• Assist in property inspections to identify safety concerns.
