Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform maintenance across property facilities, including repairs, make-ready tasks, and safety-focused inspections. You will address resident requests, manage inventories, and support grounds maintenance to uphold Greystar standards at our Lakewood, CO properties.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certifications.
• All state and local certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects from resident work orders and preventive maintenance to meet policy, safety, and code standards.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant homes, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling, and material coordination.
• Track and manage materials, supplies, and tools from the maintenance department; notify leadership when re-ordering is needed.
• Document and file service requests accurately for tracking.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities through cleaning, painting, and debris removal.
• Contribute to cost control by fixing rather than replacing where feasible and using resources efficiently.
• Attend safety meetings and assist in ensuring safety compliance and training.
• Periodically inspect contractor and vendor work to ensure quality and compliance.
• Conduct routine property inspections to identify safety risks and communicate needs to management.
