Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring that building systems, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality. The role involves responding to service requests, performing make-readies, and helping maintain property spaces.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, inspecting, documenting tasks, and coordinating with vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Prepares vacant apartments for leasing, including pre-move-out inspection and punch list creation.
• Maintains inventory and ensures proper use of materials and tools.
• Document and track service requests accurately.
• Assist in grounds and common area upkeep and perform routine cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing components when feasible.
