Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years in industrial mechanical maintenance or 4 years in related field.
• Technical diploma or associate degree preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review work orders to determine tools, time, and parts required.
• Respond to service calls with basic tools to perform maintenance.
• Read blueprints and electrical schematics for repairs.
• Disassemble, replace, and test faulty components; fabricate parts as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, packaging and slicing equipment.
• Maintain records and logs of maintenance actions and safety compliance.
• Adhere to OSHA, GMP, USDA/ FDA policies and Lock-Out Tag-Out practices.
• On-call availability 24/7.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and participate in continuous improvement.
