US Waffle Company, Inc. in Hazelwood, MO seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment in a food processing environment.

This role supports safety, quality, and production goals and requires proficiency across electrical controls, hydraulics, welding and fabrication. You will read blueprints, perform preventive maintenance, install equipment, and maintain PM schedules.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of related experience in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing environment, or 4 years direct experience.
• Vocational/Technical diploma or associate degree preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and interact with all levels of personnel.
• Good communication skills in English and ability to read and follow instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Review work orders to determine tools, equipment, time, manpower, parts, and supplies needed.
• Respond to crisis calls with basic tools and equipment to perform work.
• Read blueprints, schematics (including electrical), wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment.
• Disassemble, repair, and test mechanical components.
• Install new equipment and utilities as required.
• Maintain logs and reports of maintenance activities.
• Adhere to OSHA, FDA/USDA, GMP policies and Lock-Out Tag-Out practices.
