Job summary

US Waffle, part of Cérélia's Frozen Breakfast Business Unit, seeks a Maintenance Technician in Hazelwood, MO to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment in a food processing environment.

The role requires reading blueprints and schematics, performing preventive maintenance, and adhering to safety policies. You will report to the Maintenance Manager and participate in plant programs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years in industrial maintenance or food manufacturing.
• Technical diploma or associate degree preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and handle stress in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with reading blueprints and electrical schematics is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders to determine tools, time, manpower, and parts needed.
• Respond to crisis calls with basic tools and scene readiness.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and install new equipment per specs.
• Maintain logs, safety compliance, and participate in continuous improvement.
